University of Copenhagen

The University of Copenhagen is recognised both in Denmark and internationally for its research and educational life science competencies within food quality, food technology, food safety, including zoonoses, sensorics, economy, chemometrics, consumer behaviour, metabolomics, obesity – appetite and energy metabolism, early nutrition and growth, disease prevention and treatment.

Within the veterinary area, the university’s strengths lie within bacteriology, parasitology, pathology, pharmacology, vivisection, immunology, epidemiology as well as animal welfare and ethics. The university’s veterinary education is internationally accredited.
