Mission & vision


Food Science Copenhagen’s mission is to bring together interested parties from the University of Copenhagen, DTU, Technical University of Denmark, and private and public enterprises with a view to promoting sustainable and efficient food production and to create healthy and safe foods for the benefit of society, business, and the environment, both in Denmark and internationally.


Food Science Copenhagen’s vision is to be an internationally leading power center, which is acknowledged in particular for its academic excellence in the crossfield between the health sciences, natural sciences, bioscience, and technical science with a view to solving food-related social challenges as reflected by a number of market-leading positions within research, education, innovation and public sector services.
