Inauguration of the National Ingredient Centre, NIC

The National Ingredient Centre, NIC, is a cooporation between universities, companies and trade associations in the area of ingredients. The inauguration of the new centre takes place at Dansk Industri in Copenhagen.

For the inauguration of the NIC, representatives from industry, universities and authorities give presentations on thoughts, desires and possibilities of the new center. This will include presentations on:

• The industry needs and own initiatives in relation to a national platform in Ingredients
• Universities' possibilities of closer collaboration and cooperation with industry
• The government and the authorities' political and strategic support for NIC
• NIC's potential to maintain and strengthen growth and employment in Denmark.

NIC, develops Denmark's competitiveness in ingredients

NIC wants to ensure that consumers worldwide to have safe and healthy food that tastes good and is simple to prepare. Food ingredients helps to produce healthy and safe food to give food a particular taste, texture and appearance.

With The National Ingredient Centre, NIC, the focus is on maintaining and developing Denmark's competitive position in ingredients and foundations to contribute to the production of healthy, tasty and safe food of high quality.
